Party support (party identification)

Japan

Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi (LDP)Government: LDP–Ishin coalitionSecond Takaichi cabinet formed 18 February 2026Next general election due by February 2030 (earlier if the House is dissolved)

Share of respondents who say they support each party, from the regular national media polls since the 8 February 2026 House of Representatives election. These are party-support figures with a large "no party" group (often 30–40%), not vote shares, so they do not sum to 100.

The Centrist Reform Alliance (CRA), which contested the 2026 election for the CDP and Komeito, was dissolved on 17 September 2026 and succeeded by Komeito and the Democratic Reform Party; CRA is blank after that. Smaller parties (Team Mirai, Reiwa/Party of Life, Conservative Party, SDP, DRP) are not shown. Proportional-vote intention is polled too rarely (7 Senkyo.com polls) to use. Election figures are proportional-block vote shares.
